Dizziness
If you are feeling weak and/or dizzy, dizziness could be a symptom of coronary artery disease. This accompanied by a shortness of breath, palpitations (irregular heart beats), nausea and/or sweating are common symptoms of this serious heart disease, which causes damage to the heart’s major blood vessels.

What causes dizziness and how is it treated?
Although dizziness has no specific medical meaning, there are four common conditions considered to be types of dizziness:
Dizziness can be due to many reasons. These include heart rhythm problems, blood flow problems to the brain, dehydration, anemia, or medication side effects.
The treatment of dizziness is very much dependent on the cause of dizziness. On many occasions, your dizziness can be improved simply by drinking more fluids or adjusting your medications. If a heart rhythm disturbance is determined to be the cause of your dizziness, then treatment may require special medications to stabilize the heart rhythm, and in some severe cases, a pacemaker or a catheter based ablation would be required.
