Health Insurance Plans

Some health insurance plans require a referral from your primary care doctor to see a specialist. It is the patient’s responsibility to obtain the referral from your primary care doctor for your office visit. If you do not obtain the referral, your insurance will deny the claim and payment for services. If you are not sure if your insurance requires a referral, please contact your insurance plan’s customer service.

Many insurances require a co-payment. You are required to pay for any co-payments at the time of your visit. We will bill your health insurance directly for our services. After your health insurance has made payment, we will send you a bill for any applicable patient balances (i.e. deductibles, copay, co-insurance).
