Vladimir Znamensky – MD

Dr. Znamensky specializes in coronary interventions, including complex high risk revascularization of chronic total occlusions, using Impella hemodynamic support devices. He treats a wide range of vascular diseases including peripheral vascular procedures for peripheral arterial disease, as well as radiofrequency venous ablation of venous insufficiency.

Dr. Znamensky completed training at the German Heart Centre in Munich, Germany, and successfully performs TAVR procedures at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey. He speaks English, Spanish, Hebrew and Russian.

  • Graduated from Queens College in NY with a B.A. in Psychology & Minor in Biology
  • Completed Medical Degree at Ross University Medical School in Dominica, West Indes

Post-Doctoral Training

  • Completed training in internal medicine, general cardiology, and interventional cardiology at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York
  • After residency, served an additional year as a Chief Resident in Internal Medicine
  • While in fellowship, served as a Chief Fellow in Cardiology
